A funding window that left no room for a site-by-site approach
Volteo Networks needed to expand into a new state within a single funding cycle. Sourcing and securing 6 separate sites individually, the way most network expansions happen, would have taken years working with individual brokers and utilities one at a time.
Volteo needed a partner who could run site acquisition, permitting, and construction in parallel across all 6 locations at once, not sequentially.
The solution
We built a pipeline of 14 candidate sites, narrowed to the 6 that best matched Volteo’s network coverage and traffic requirements.
A single master agreement structure covered all 6 sites, cutting negotiation time compared to six individual contracts.
We ran utility applications for all 6 sites in parallel rather than sequentially, the single biggest factor in hitting the 12-month window.
We used to lose months on site acquisition alone. Ampcore cut that down to weeks, and we still get final say on every location.

How we delivered it
Each site was built to Volteo’s exact hardware and branding specifications, so every location felt identical to drivers.
Ampcore monitors uptime across all 6 sites from one dashboard, with a single point of contact for Volteo’s team.
Ampcore’s capital funded the full rollout, so Volteo didn’t need to raise additional capital mid-expansion.
The results
All 6 sites went live within the 12-month funding window, with the first site live in under 4 months. Volteo Networks has since asked Ampcore to scope a second-state rollout for next year.
