Programme length
Five sites, five build programmes, one deadline
Solandra Developments was building five residential schemes at the same time, each with its own contractor, programme and utility timeline. Adding EV charging to every site meant five sets of approvals and five sets of coordination, on top of an already tight delivery schedule.
The brief to Ampcore was simple: charging live at every development before residents moved in, without adding a single meeting to the site teams’ week.
The solution
We reviewed all five site plans together and mapped charger locations against each development’s parking layout and phasing.
A single agreement covered every development, with revenue-share terms agreed before any construction began.
Grid applications for all five sites were submitted in parallel through our utility partnerships, removing the usual sequential delays.
One point of contact for a project that used to mean five different phone calls a week.

How we delivered it
Installation was slotted into each site’s existing build programme, so charging works never held up the main contractor.
Ampcore took on day-one operations and maintenance across the portfolio, with one monthly report for all five sites.
The full build was funded by Ampcore, with no capital outlay required from Solandra Developments.
The results
All 22 chargers went live ahead of first occupancy at each development, with zero coordination delays logged across the programme. Solandra now includes Ampcore in the planning stage of every new scheme.
